ClipboardCollector Description
ClipboardCollector is a simple and portable application that records all your Clipboard text-based contents to a single area, which you can later review and copy information to save it to a document.
It doesn't include complicated options or configuration settings, so it can be handled with ease by all types of users.
No setup required, besides .NET Framework
The entire program's packed in a single .exe file that you can save in a custom location on the disk or copy to a removable storage unit, in order to run it on any computer with minimum effort.
However, you must have .NET Framework installed, since it was developed with the help of this platform. It doesn't need other DLLs to run, create extra files on the disk without your permission, or modify Windows registry settings.
Monitor and copy Clipboard contents
Since the moment it runs, ClipboardCollector starts keeping track of your text-based entries copied to the Clipboard including URLs. It lists each entry on one line.
The main window has a classical-looking structure and displays all options provided by the tool. You can pause the monitor with one click, copy all contents to the Clipboard, as well as clear the history to start everything from scratch.
Worth noting is that the application can be minimized to the taskbar to make it non-intrusive. However, it doesn't implement an option to send it to the systray. Moreover, it doesn't remember the history on exit, so make sure to save everything beforehand.
Evaluation and conclusion
CPU and RAM usage was minimal in our tests, so the tool didn't hog system resources. It worked smoothly, without triggering the OS to freeze, crash or prompt error messages. On the other hand, ClipboardCollector features limited options for Clipboard monitoring. Nevertheless, you can test it for yourself.
