ClipCase

ClipCase is a tiny and portable software utility designed to help you easily change the case of the Clipboard text content. It does not come bundled with complicated features or configuration settings, making it accessible to all types of users, even the ones with little or no experience in such apps.

Portability benefits

Since installation is not a requirement, you can drop the executable file in any part of the hard disk and just click it to run, as well as save CLIPCASE to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any PC with minimum effort and no other installers.
An important aspect worth keeping in mind is that the program does not alter Windows registry settings or create additional files on the disk, thus leaving it clean after removal.

Accessibility via the system tray area

At startup, ClipCase creates an icon in the system tray area and immediately becomes active. Clicking it brings up a small frame that shows instructions on how to convert Clipboard content to lowercase and uppercase, namely by activating two keyboard shortcuts; these work on a global level. There are no other notable options provided by his software application.

Evaluation and conclusion

There were no kind of issues in our tests, since CLIPCASE did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. It is very responsive to comnands and worked smoothly in our tests. It runs on low CPU and RAM, as expected, so it does not hog system resources or interrupt normal activity on the PC. Thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, CLIPCASE can be handled by anyone looking to easily convert Clipboard text contents to lowercase or uppercase.
