Clock.NET Description
Clock.NET is a simple tool that places a clock on your desktop. It integrates several useful features, so it's fully customizable.
The interface of the application is based on a small frame that you can move to any position on the screen, with the help of the mouse cursor.
By accessing the context menu, you can set up alarms on any day of the week or just on weekends, view the system calendar, make the frame stay on top of other windows, as well as display it in full screen mode or enable the clock to automatically run at system startup.
It is also possible to change the clock's colors, set up sounds (e.g. for every hour or half an hour, sleep time), adjust the volume for the alarm, clock and music, change calendar colors (e.g. bound, week separator), as well as create an icon for Clock.NET in the system tray area.
Moreover, you can apply a picture to the clock's background, adjust the frame's opacity level, configure keyboard shortcuts and modify the menu system (e.g. base color, item size, font), just to name a few.
Clock.NET requires a moderate quantity of CPU and system memory, has a good response time and contains user documentation. No error dialogs have been shown in our tests and the application did not hang or crash. Although its preferences are not very intuitive, Clock.NET offers a wide range of configuration properties for users who want to completely adapt a clock to their needs.
