Crypditor

Crypditor is a lightweight and portable word processing tool with limited features that saves documents with a password. Therefore, you can keep information secured against unauthorized users. It is easy to figure out.
Since installaton is not necessary, you can simply drop the executable file anywhere on the hard drive and run it directly.
Otherwise, you can store Crypditor on a USB flash drive, external hard drive or similar storage unit, and run it on any computer. Therefore, you can create password-protected documents whenever you're on the move.
From the technical perspective, the Windows Registry section does not receive new entries, and files are not left behind on the hard drive after removing the program.
The interface of Crypditor is represented by a common window with a minimalistic layout. Instructions are automatically displayed upon deployment.
So, you can write text and, once the document is done, you can assign a password to it, specify an output directory and file name, and save it. Crypditor automatically creates executable files, thus allowing you to view the encrypted documents on any system, and you don't need to have this program pre-installed to do so.
It is also possible to import plain text documents (TXT), manage multiple text files in tabs, as well as to rename tabs and change their position in the frame. Furthermore, you can use some standard word processing functions (e.g. Undo, Cut, Copy, Search, Repeat), customize the font, enable word wrapping mode, as well as show line numbers and word wrapping glyphs.
The straightforward program supports two UI languages, has a good response time and doesn't put a strain on the computer's performance, since it barely uses CPU and system memory. We have not come across any issues throughout our testing, since the app did not hang, crash or alert us of any errors.
While Crypditor is not very resourceful, the application packs the necessary and suffice elements for creating password-protected executable files with text, which you can access on any system without installing any prerequisite software.
