CSS Menu Generator Description
CSS Menu Generator is a simple program that enables inexperienced users to quickly generate CSS menus for their websites, in just a matter of clicks. It comes bundled with an intuitive configuration set, so rookies can handle the entire process on the fly.
Clean and simple looks
The interface of the tool is based on a single window with a well-organized layout, where you can select one of the templates provided by the tool and customize them.
Customization options
It is possible to modify the colors and backgrounds for the page, menu, menu links, submenus, menu and submenu hover, and menu borders.
Preview your project
You can apply presets and preview results on the bottom half of the screen. The project can be saved to file for further modifications.
In addition, you can preview the project in Internet Explorer, refresh the page of the built-in preview mode, customize fonts (family, size, weight, style, text decoration) and add more menus. Settings may be restored to their factory values. Last but not least, you can check a URL for file headers.
Performance and final thought
Unfortunately, the unregistered edition of CSS Menu Generator has some harsh limitations. The tool is low-demanding when it comes to CPU and RAM, so it doesn't affect the computer's overall performance or interrupt normal user activity.
It has a good response time to commands and didn't cause Windows to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs in our testing. Too bad that CSS Menu Generator has not been updated for a pretty long time.
