Cyber-D's MOV2GIF

Cyber-D's MOV2GIF is a program with a pretty self-explanatory name - it allows you to create GIF animations from video clips with the MOV format.
But it also supports AVI and MPEG. The tool can be easily figured out, even by inexperienced individuals.
The interface of the software application is clean and intuitive. Opening a video clip can be done by using the file browser only, since the 'drag and drop' method is not supported. Unfortunately, you cannot handle multiple items at the same time.
So, you can preview the clip within the frame, navigate back and forth within the video by using a slider or by moving one frame in the previous or next position, as well as crop or stretch the clip.
Cyber-D's MOV2GIF also gives you the possibility of establishing the output resolution. Saving the video to the GIF format is easily done by specifying the output directory and filename.
The simple-to-use program runs on a moderate amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and delivers GIF animations with a good image quality. We have not come across any issues during our testing; Cyber-D's MOV2GIF did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs.
On the other hand, Cyber-D's MOV2GIF integrates limited features. For example, you cannot minimize the app to the system tray area. Plus, it does not offer multi-language support. Unfortunately, no recent updates have been made.
