DayMon Description

DayMon is a very light gadget for your desktop that displays upcoming birthdays or anniversaries, by gathering data from the Windows Vista "Contacts" folder. It is simple to install and configure, even if your experience with software tools in general is limited.
The interface of the application is made from a very small frame that you can move to any spot on the screen, with the help of the mouse cursor. Therefore, DayMon is not intrusive in any way.
By opening the Options panel you can modify the default count, day count and refresh interval.
Thanks to the options provided by the operating system by default, you can also make the frame stay on top of other windows, as well as set its opacity level to a preset value, ranging from 20% to 100%. There are no other notable options available for this gadget.
The compact tool is very low-demanding when it comes to the CPU and RAM, so it's not a concern to the computer's overall performance. It has a good response time and works smoothly, without causing Windows to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. Thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, DayMon should satisfy all users.
