Simply Weather is a very simple application that can be used to get an accurate reading of current weather conditions in various locations, as well as view three or seven-day forecasts.

Access weather information for specific locations

To receive weather reports and forecasts, you need to enter a city's name, then its latitude and longitude. These values can be obtained from various websites or GPS devices. However, the application cannot automatically detect your current location.
The temperature reading can be displayed in either Celsius or Fahrenheit units, suitable for users accustomed to either of these scales.

Displays various readings and multi-day forecasts

The weather report is displayed in a minimalistic interface and you can choose between viewing a three or seven-day forecast.
Simply Weather displays current cloud coverage, wind speed and direction, humidity, wind chill, as well as a precipitation forecast. Very high or low temperatures are displayed using a red font, to help draw your attention to potentially dangerous weather conditions.
It would help if more interface customization options were available, such as having the application display only current weather, without future forecasts.

Cannot be customized or sent to the system tray

Simply Weather features a simple and easy-to-use interface, but it lacks adequate customization features. Given that it is meant to be displayed on your desktop at all times, you should be able to personalize its appearance.
The temperature reading is also displayed on the application's taskbar icon, allowing you to have access to this information even when you are using other programs. However, the application cannot be minimized or sent to the system tray. As a result, you can either have the weather information displayed on your desktop at all times or shut down the program.
All in all, Simply Weather is an easy-to-use and straightforward utility that displays information about current weather conditions in various locations, as well as multi-day forecasts. However, it lacks any advanced functions and features a minimalistic interface that cannot be customized in any way.
