dBeamerDPM integrates dBeamer (from Instavia Software) with Microsoft Data Protection Manager (DPM). dBeamerDPM allows IT administrators to browse the data history captured in the Microsoft DPM repository, and perform an instant data recovery. The files being recovered are available for immediate acess and modification by applications, while database undergoing recovery can be attached to their service instantly. A recovering Hyper-V machine can be powered up in seconds, regardless of data size. dBeamer!DPM can be used to perform weekly or monthly fast recovery drills. It can be used to recover data capturned in MS DPM repository even when the DPM SQL database is not available. The Instant Data Availability capability afforded by dBeamer!DPM transforms Microsoft DPM into a critical component of a High Availability (HA) infrastructure demanded by a rapidly growing number of organizations.
