Digital Clock Description
Digital Clock is a small desktop clock that does nothing more than to show the current time through a very basic interface.
Comparison with other clock utilities
While most similar desktop clocks are also equipped with various other utilities, such as alarms or countdown timers, Digital Clock is focused solely on this purpose, displaying the current time on the desktop.
And even if it has no other features, this doesn’t necessarily mean that Digital Clock comes with an avalanche of configuration and interface customization options.
No, this is actually a very simple program with only a few options and with a minimum footprint on hardware resources.
Different skins to apply to your clock
There are four skins to choose from, but the default one seems to be the most attractive, with two options for each of them, “long†and “short.â€
The long version is actually a customized style of the clock with seconds included, so nothing too fancy or complicated. What’s more, a sound utility is also included in the package, releasing an audio notification every hour.
As you can see, Digital Clock is one of the most basic pieces of software in this particular category, so it’s no wonder that it comes with no help file. It works flawlessly on all Windows workstations out there and doesn’t affect system performance at all.
Bottom line
As a conclusion, Digital Clock is more like a waste of time, especially because it does the same thing as the standard Windows clock. It comes with only a few configuration options and no alarm utilities.
