Digital Janitor Description
Digital Janitor is a software application which enables you to easily create all sort of rules, so as to organize your files and folders.
After an uneventful installation, you come face to face with a simple interface, comprised of a panel in which to view all the created rules and several boxes and buttons, so as to quickly reach all the actions available.
In order to start sorting, you have to choose a source folder, specify the rules for the clean-up and click the “Sort†button. It is important to keep in mind that depending on the number and size of the items, and your computer’s performance, the duration of this process might vary.
This software utility enables you to sort folders according to user-input extensions, keywords and size. All these items can be moved to another directory or sent to the Recycle Bin. Rules can be memorized by this tool, so that you can use them at a later date.
It is possible to group files by similar name, extension or type. In addition to that, you can sort music according to artist and album, as well as rename items with the song title.
There are no Help contents incorporated, yet seeing how easy it is to use the program, it becomes apparent that they are not actually needed.
CPU and memory usage is minimal, response time is good and our tests did not reveal any errors or crashes. Taking all of this into consideration, we can safely say Digital Junior is a good option when needing to sort multiple files in one single session.
