DirectShow Filters for Ogg Vorbis, Speex, Theora and FLAC

DirectShow Filters for Ogg Vorbis, Speex, Theora and FLAC is a collection of codecs that was designed to help users implement extended playback capabilities within their favorite multimedia player. It consists of multiple Windows and DirectShow Xiph.org codecs, but encoders and decoders for Xiph.org and Annodex are also available.
Among the components bundled in the installer, users can find codecs for OGG, Vorbis, Theora, FLAC and CELT. It is worth mentioning that before installing it on the target computer it is necessary to uninstall any previous version of the codecs in order to prevent malfunctions or other errors from occurring. Also, it is recommended keep all the media players or DirectShow applications that are potentially supported closed.
After running the installer and following the on-screen instructions provided by it, users need to specify a destination path on their computer. As a result of a successful installation of DirectShow Filters for Ogg Vorbis, Speex, Theora and FLAC, Windows Media Player or any other applications that are based on DirectShow (such as BS.Player) will be capable of handling Ogg Vorbis, Ogg Theora, Ogg Speex, Native FLAC, Ogg FLAC as well as WebM.
