DragKing Description
DragKing is a small Windows program designed for helping you gather statistics about your mouse selections. It is able to automatically monitor clipboard data and constantly generate updated reports of words, characters, and lines copied to the clipboard.
Store it on pen drives
You can save DragKing on USB flash drives so you can have it with you all the time. In addition, you may run it without administrative privileges. You do not need to follow the steps included in an installation process, as you may simply run the executable file. No settings files are left on the host computer because they are saved on the storage device.
Unobtrusive running mode
The tool does not disturb your work. It runs quietly in the background and displays popup notifications when it detects new data copied to the clipboard. A popup message includes details about the number of characters, words, and lines.
A double-click on its icon helps you disable or enable the automatic clipboard monitoring mode.
Get statistics about clipboard selections
You can make DragKing show the last popup message, display tray notification or message box, set the time for revealing the notifications in seconds, as well as open the utility disabled.
What’s more, you can reassign hotkeys for disabling the program, specify line and word delimiters, as well as enter the characters that you want to ignore.
Tests have shown that DragKing carries out a task very quickly. It is not a resource hog so you do not have to worry that it eats up CPU and memory resources.
Final words
All things considered, DragKing comes packed only with basic features for helping you monitor clipboard activity. The only problem is that the application has not been updated for a long time so you may bump into compatibility issues on newer operating systems. We have tested it on Windows 8.1 Pro and noticed that the program becomes unresponsive.
