DtaViewer

DtaViewer is a Java application designed to help you open and view DTA graphical files. You can use it to analyze M/Z errors and set sequences to generate theoretical MS/MS spectrum, among others.
As long as you have Java installed, you dont need to set up anything else. This means that you can save the program to a custom location on the disk or on a USB flash drive to run the JAR executable file on any computer. More importantly, it doesnt make any changes to the Windows registry.
The tool adopts a simple interface that lets you open a DTA graphics file to get started. Its possible to refresh the view, as well as to apply a custom pick color or configure HSV, HSL, RGB or CMYK levels. Results can be previewed before committing modifications, and settings can be reset to default.
M/Z errors can be displayed or hidden. In addition, you can choose an error color and set the error width (Dalton), provide a sequence for generating a theoretical MS/MS spectrum, hide errors, disable spectrum overlay, as well as choose the ion types to display after examining the line and label color, maximum charge, abundance, and labels. Further ions may be generated for H2O or NS3 loss or gain. The resulted image can be exported to PNG format.System requirementsJava
