Dynamsoft Barcode Reader is a set of essential components for the building of barcode reading capabilities in applications.
The development kit includes various libraries and it is compatible with several IDEs, plus multiple programming languages.
The tools can easily be used with C++, C#, Java, ASP.NET, VB.NET, in any environment that supports ActiveX or .NET components, on both x86 and x64 platforms.
Visual Studio .NET, Visual C++, VB6, Delphi, Eclipse or Xcode are a few examples of the compatible environments. Moreover, the pack includes several samples and detailed documentation on how to implement them.
Dynamsoft Barcode Reader allows you to integrate and customize barcode recognition functions in your application.
The tool enables you to work with several types of 1D barcodes, including Code 39, Codabar, UPCA, UPCE, EAN13 or ITF, just to name a few. The data is acquired using the optical recognition technology, by scanning image files.
The supported picture formats include BMP, PNG, JPEG, JPG, JPE, JFIF, TIF and TIFF, in both color or grayscale modes.
Additionally, you can create functions for reading device-independent bitmap files (DIB) obtained directly from cameras or scanners.
The tool offers you various APIs that allow you to reduce the duration of program development thanks to the integrated barcode recognition technologies.
