Creating DVDs isn’t a very difficult job, if you have the right tools at your disposal. Easy DVD Maker is a program that simplifies the entire process.
The app has a clean interface that should be easy to work with, thanks to the intuitive layout.
The program allows you select the region where you live in and a TV standard, whether PAL or NTSC. The video ratio can be set to 4:3 or 16:9. For the later, you can disable all restriction, the pan/scan feature or the letterbox. An output directory must be defined as well.
You must then load the videos that you want to burn to disc. These can be in multiple file formats, such as AVI, MPG or MPEG. A thumbnail may be created for the clip, as well as the start and stop times for the selected clip.
The DVD structure can be defined as well by introducing chapters and various splits. A background for the menu may be chosen as well. There are several images available, but others can be chosen by browsing the directories. The app supports several file formats, namely JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF or TIFF.
Frames can be selected for the videos from a series of templates. It’s also possible to modify the thumbnail count.
All in all, Easy DVD Maker is a nice program that can be quite helpful. Inexperienced users should find the program easy to handle, particularly thanks to the wizard-based interface.
