Easy Envelopes

Easy Envelopes is a simple-to-use Windows utility that enables you to prepare envelopes for printing by configuring a few intuitive options. It can be handled by all types of users, whether they have previous experience with this kind of software or not.

Quick setup and simple GUI

The entire package unwraps very quickly and does not require special input, since only basic settings are available. In terms of interface, it looks like Easy Envelopes is outdated. However, it is very easy to navigate, since all available options are visible in the main frame.

Write contact information on the envelope

Most part of the main window is occupied by a digital envelope which permits users to intuitively write contact information for both the sender and receiver right on it (top-left corner and center of the envelope), as well as to increase or decrease the font size, depending on their preferences.

Specify basic settings for printing

When it comes to printing the envelope, you can select its size, feeds position (left side, center or right side) and edge space (ranging from 0 to 5 inches), as well as print the logo and the Postnet barcode if necessary. In addition, the contact information can be saved to file and imported at a later time in other projects. There are no other noteworthy options available.

Evaluation and conclusion

There were no kind of issues in our tests, since Easy Envelopes did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. It has a good response time and runs on low CPU and RAM, so it does not affect the overall performance of the computer.
Although it does not include rich customization settings (e.g. font type and color), Easy Envelopes provides a simple and effective method to preparing envelopes for printing, and it can be handled by anyone with ease.
