Easy Subtitles Joiner is a lightweight and portable software application that enables users to quickly and easily merge together subtitle files, as well as to synchronize them to their corresponding videos.
Since installation is not a prerequisite, you can drop the executable file to any location on the HDD and just click it to run. It is also possible to save Easy Subtitles Joiner to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any PC with minimum effort and no previous installers.
What's more, the Windows registry does not get updated with new entries, and leftovers are not kept on the HDD after program removal.
The interface is based on a standard window with a well-defined structure, where you can use the drag-and-drop method to add subtitle files to the pending queue.
Easy Subtitles Joiner offers support for numerous subtitle formats, including SRT, XML, TXT, SUB and CIP, and lets you point out the output file type.
Displayed information includes the file name, start and end time, and total lines. You can preview them within the main frame, increase or decrease time for synchronization purposes, as well as alter the default encoding method. Merged files can be saved to a new one by selecting the output directory and format.
Easy Subtitles Joiner has a good response time and finishes a merging job in no time while using low CPU and RAM. We have not come across any issues in our tests, since the app did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. All in all, Easy Subtitles Joiner serves its purpose.
