In case you have sensitive documents on your computer that need to be hidden from prying eyes, it can be useful to be able to store them in a secure place, which cannot be accessed without the entering the correct password.

Place your files in a locked vault

ECS Safe Lock is a software utility that enables you to store your private documents in a secure vault, which can be locked using a pass code. Thus, you can deny access to your personal files, while still being able to view and modify them whenever you need to do so, by simply unlocking the safe and performing the desired operations.
Although the application may look rather simple, it does allow you to store both files and entire folders at once, by simply copying them inside the vault. Once every item is in place, you can proceed to lock it by clicking on the appropriate button, which makes the created drive inaccessible from outside the application.

Synch documents with each other

As previously mentioned, the utility creates a new virtual drive on your computer, where the selected documents are stored. Additionally, you can also use the alternative pending folder and perform synchronization procedures in order to keep the files constantly updated. In case any changes are detected, the application copies the new versions to the secure safe.
Inside the actual user interface, you can view and open each document, by simple performing a double-click on it. Furthermore, it is also possible to copy, cut or delete items, as well as view their properties and create shortcuts on your desktop, since the right-click menu is same as the default explorer menu.

Keep your documents protected

Despite the occasional mishaps and errors, ECS Safe Lock is able to effectively protect your files against unauthorized access. In addition, the user interface is very easy-to-use and intuitive, since you are allowed to edit the documents in the usual way while the vault is unlocked.
