EDM2014 Video Player

EDM2014 Video Player is a lightweight and easy to handle piece of software whose main purpose is to help you watch all your favorite movies, with the least amount of effort.

Basic user interface

Following a brief and uneventful installation process, you can launch the program and load the video you wish to view.
EDM2014 Video Player offers a simple, yet intuitive interface, being able to run in windowed mode, full screen and roll up. The main window features a set of common player functions, for instance 'Play / Pause' or 'Stop', as well as the ability to adjust the volume or the playback speed using the gliders.
Moreover, the application allows you to take snapshots of the videos you are watching, saving the files to JPG format. From the context menu of the EDM2014 Video Player, you can toggle 'Full / Normal Screen', list the file properties, search for subtitles for your movie or access the 'Options / Settings' section.

Load and watch videos

In order to open a movie, listen to an audio file or display a picture, you can press the 'Play' button, enabling you to browse through the contents of your computer and select the item that you want to view.
At the same time, EDM2014 Video Player supports drag and drop actions, so you can simply drop the movie you wish to watch onto the main window, which will cause it to start rendering it immediately. Keep in mind that the tool does not feature playlist capabilities, as such it is not advisable to try and load more than one file at a time.
From the 'Options / Settings' window, you have the possibility of adjusting the 'Brightness', 'Saturation' and 'Hue' of the image, applying a 'Vertical Flip' or 'Deinterlace the video, while also informing you which are the hotkeys you can use.

Simple media player

All in all, EDM2014 Video Player is a handy albeit fairly limited utility that is meant to help you watch movies, along with other media formats, in just a few button presses.
