Email Extractor

The internet is full of different email addresses, but being able to access them on a large scale is difficult. Email Extractor is an application designed to find and list multiple email addresses at once, via Google's search engine and key words that users can designate.

A deceptively simple interface that allows users some level of control

At first glance, Email Extractor looks very basic until users figure out its keyword and "Email must have below" windows. Once users configure its highly customizable settings, advanced strings of keywords and requirements can be inputted into the application to control the searches.
The program operates by inputting those keywords into Google and extracting any email addresses it finds from the results. However, Email Extractor does lack most settings common to email extraction, there are no deep crawl settings and no blacklisting options to work with. The lack of advanced settings means that users can perform refined and targeted searches, but have no say in how the software performs them.

A lack of support and features is a theme throughout the application

The simple nature of the interface might be able to perform advanced searches, but it provides little else. Presentation Software offers no other settings or features save for one. An export option is available to export the results into a text format to be studied or used elsewhere.
The complete lack of options is a problem, there are other email extracting applications that offer very advanced settings with additional, internal disc searches for email extraction. Considering the app is not free, the lack of even proper help documentation shows a lazy and haphazard approach.

A basic application that will satisfy an amateur, but not an advanced user

Email Extractor works and its string search function works reasonably well. Sadly, that is all there is to say about the application. The lack of any support, additional features, settings or display options means many users might feel they did not get their monies worth.
