EmC-Email Control Description
EmC-Email Control is an anti-spam application which allows users to reduce the number of junk mails arriving in their inbox. The program works with a combination of filters, that can be customized by the user and checks the mail while it is still on your ISP server. Based on your filter criteria, it will process the mail and optionally delete all Spam or mark it for deletion.
EmC also works as an Email Checker, allowing you to view messages on the server, before deleting anything. In addition, you can check your mail for any script based viruses or other hazards before downloading it to your computer. New filters can be easily added and the program comes equipped with a large list of presets including; "Find sender owner domain" in the registration domain database.
The reading of messages header is effected directly in the provider without recording them in your machine. All that trash that normally invades your mailbox is deleted in the provider, by your selection, saving space, time and annoyances.
The EmC reads, initially, only the headers of the email accounts informing the sender, subject, size of the message, dates, email account, server POP3 account, identification account, addresses, the emitting program message and the filtered messages (in yellow line with red mark). While it reads the headers of the messages the EmC verifies, through its powerful filters , the possible existence of Virus.
Moreover spammers determines with much probability of success who is " the senders" of indiscriminate messages (unsolicited sender messages). You can indicate in each filter if you want that the EmC automatically delete in the provider the messages indicated by the filters.
Beyond message filters, the EmC keep a list of unsolicited messages(address and domain), Black List that will alert you whenever one of these appears in provider deleting the message automatically in the server.System requirementsPentium
