Falco Auto Image Description
Since modern mobile devices are now fitted with powerful cameras, you’re easily driven into capturing various moments, individuals, or landscapes. Images might not actually end up as you want them to, and it is up to specialized applications like Falco Auto Image to help process pictures to enhance them, crop, or fix errors.
Import pictures from various sources
The process of getting it installed on your computer takes little time, but it’s a good idea to pay attention to every “next†button you press and all offers you accept, or you risk getting other components you might not necessarily want or need deployed as well.
On the visual side, the interface fits all functions you get to work with, and two preview panels to have the original always in sight, as well as the processed output. It feels a little rough around the edges overall, but accommodation isn’t a major obstacle.
Image input can come from different sources, but you only get to process a single picture at a time. Supported formats include PNG, JPG, GIF, BMP, TIFF, TGA, PSD, PCD, and ICO files, either from your hard disk drive, a connected scanner, or instant capture through a webcam.
Good, but far from being a pro
Truth be told, the application comes with an impressive variety of effects and insert options. The only downside here is poor implementation which prolongs every step a little more than necessary. Some are applied on the spot, while other bring up additional windows and controls.
Editing consists of more than just applying effects. For instance, tools can be used to apply watermarks based on text and pictures, with up to three virtual light sources to add. Basic effects enhance pictures with blur, brightness, contour, cartoon, emboss, sobel, color adjustment, glow, and a lot more.
In conclusion
Taking everything into consideration, we can say that Falco Auto Image definitely comes with an impressive variety of processing tools, usable for both enhancing, and in-depth adjustments. However, the interface is a downside, making some elements rather difficult to access, while preview doesn’t quite offer a clear representation.
