FastStone Player

FastStone Player is a tool that enables you to easily play media files of various formats, including ASF, AVI, MPG, MP3, WAV and WMV.
What sets this small software apart from other similar products is the fact that its media player is integrated into an Explorer-based layout.
In other words, you can easily locate files by using the treeview, and quickly load them into the tool.
So, you can use basic media player functions, such as pause and stop, go to the next or previous track, navigate back and forth within the clip, select frames step by step and adjust the volume.
In addition, you can toggle between full screen mode and best fit video to the window, zoom in and out, adjust the speaker balance, enable slow motion, view the playing and total time, as well as enable shuffling and repeating the current file. Plus, you can change the interface skin.
The tool uses a low-to-moderate amount of system resources and didn't pop up any errors during our tests. However, there is no help file available and you do not have access to more advanced settings (e.g. load subtitles).
Nevertheless, FastStone Player is a simple-to-use tool for playing media files and we strongly recommended it to first-time or advanced users who are just looking for a straightforward, stable and fully functional application.
