File Splitz!

As the name of this software implies, File Splitz! allows you to split files. But you can also join them back together. The tool can be easily handled by all user levels.
The interface of the application is plain and simple to navigate through. Files can be imported by using the file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is unsupported. Batch splitting is not possible.
So, all you have to do is specify the output directory, splitting method (by size or into equal-sized parts) and speed, in order to proceed with the splitting job.
The merging process is similar. You simply have to select the first part of the file and File Splitz! will automatically recognize the rest of the pieces (evidently, they must be placed in the same location).
Plus, you can enable File Splitz! to automatically delete parts once the task is done, as well as calculate checksums. The simplistic software runs on a very low amount of system resources (which is barely noticeable), has a good response time and quickly finishes a task.
However, there is no help file available and File Splitz! popped up several errors during our tests. We recommend you look for something more advanced than this tool.
