Fix My Registry

Fix My Registry is a program with a pretty self-explanatory name - it allows you to scan the Windows registry for any errors and fix them. Therefore, you can improve the performance level of your system.
The interface of the tool is dull and uncomplicated. Fix My Registry can look into any issues which focus on file associations, COM and ActiveX entries, the startup program lists, uninstall entries and temporary registry values.
When the scanning procedure is done, you can view the total number of found errors in all the aforementioned areas, as well as check out their details. Fixing these issues can be seamlessly done with just the click of a button. Plus, you can undo all modifications you make.
The straightforward app runs on a low-to-moderate amount of CPU and system memory, in order to finish a task in reasonable time. It has a good response time and includes user documentation. We have not come across any errors in our tests and Fix My Registry did not freeze or crash.
On the downside, you cannot select which registry entries you want to fix; Fix My Registry simply repairs all of them. Plus, you cannot create backups or configure program settings (e.g. set Fix My Registry to automatically run at system startup). No recent updates have been made.
