Flowkeeper Description

There’s only so much time every day to perform all activities you plan on taking to an end. However, organizing all activities you need to perform, and even add breaks in between can not only help you focus better, but also enhances the whole experience. What’s more, you can keep track of, and organize your tasks with Flowkeeper.

Visually appealing and easy to use

The application requires little time and effort for the installation process, but before you can go on using it, you need to make sure Java Runtime Environment is part of the list of programs already deployed on your computer.
Once launched, the main window shows up, letting you accommodate from the first few seconds, simply by taking a look at the set of features. A list is used to show all tasks you create, while the upper toolbar lets you trigger different functions, add tasks, and access the settings menu for general behavior.

Add more tasks, and configure timing options

The application relies on the Pomodoro technique, which structures a plan into four cycles of 25 minutes of work time each, and 5 minutes to rest in between. These are only the default values, with the application letting you configure work and break time intervals from the settings menu. There, you can also choose to enable sound alerts, and whether or not to hide the main window when starting a task.
In order to get started, you first need to fill your list with things which need to be done. It’s enough to add the title and number of pomodoros to get a task ready. When started, the tray icon fills in as time goes by, with a balloon popup to let you know when it’s time to take a break, or when to resume work. However, the next pomodoro always needs to be manually initiated.

A few last words

Taking everything into consideration, we can say that Flowkeeper is a practical application which can help you organize your time a lot better, so you can finish all tasks in due time, without getting too tired. It’s easy to use by anyone, thanks to the intuitive design, can track multiple tasks, and worth a try overall.
