Free Ringtone Studio allows you to import a series of songs from your computer, in order to trim their duration down to maximum 30 seconds. In other words, the software can help you edit them so they fit the iPhone ringtone format. Alternatively, you may increase or decrease the default ringtone duration, from the Settings window. If the audio files you loaded feature a less than 30 seconds duration, they can also be trimmed, or be copied as they are.
By default, the software selects the first 30 seconds segment, starting at the beginning of the audio file and skipping silence. It allows you to move the segment further in the song, but it needs to remain a compact fragment, you cannot select separate parts of the song.

Data transfer to and from the iPhone

After configuring all the audio files in the input list Free Ringtone Studio allows you to instantly transfer them to your iPhone, in the proper location. When the process is finished, the application indicates how can you change the ringtones for your iPhone and where to find the newly transferred files.
The iPhone tab displays the ringtones that were copied from your computer onto the phone, as well as the other files available for transfer. The software can also handle migrating ringtones from the phone to the computer, but it can only perform this task with supported files.
