Free Slideshow Maker Description
Free Slideshow Maker is a clean and intuitive application designed to help you put together video slideshows from favorite photographs and enhance them by adding a soundtrack to create beautiful animations.
Wizard interface for a step-by-step approach
After a brief setup operation that shouldn't give you any trouble, you're welcomed by a user-friendly interface. It consists of a wizard where you have to follow several basic steps to carry out tasks in no time.
In the first stage, you can popular the list of images with as many files as you want. The program's not explicit concerning the supported image types, but we're noticed that it works with JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF and TIF. Batches of files can be added from a selected directory, and any entry can be removed from the list if you change your mind.
Adjust photos, add music, and set output options
In the following step, it's possible to reorganize the images in the order you wish them to appear in the slideshow. This can be done by dragging and dropping the pictures in the filmstrip while previewing the currently selected photo.
In the third and last wizard stage, you can add music by importing one or more files with the MP3 format, set the output video quality (e.g. medium, high), and modify the default number of seconds between transitions.
Furthermore, Free Slideshow Maker can be instructed to loop audio and video, apply fade in and out effects, as well as render the WMV video slideshow with the click of a button. Its destination in Windows Explorer can be visited from the central panel.
