It's truly an innovative and clever program for astrology and astronomy enthusiasts, as well as people who would like to learn more about zodiacs and astrology in general. It sports a colorful interface that could use some instructions of use.

Colorful but a bit confusing graphical interface

The application doesn't take long to install and it doesn't come with a complicated setup that you would need to complete, before you can use it. The software solution requires online registration, but you can use the trial version for about 5 times before needing to provide a free registration key.
It sports a rather intuitive graphical interface, with not that many sections. However, the layout is a bit confusing and very colorful, it would have needed some instructions of use.

Genius Loci Free displays the Chinese, Indian, Arabic, Scythian Lunar Mansions. It comes with advanced Aspectaria, primary module and many more features. You can adjust the interface's transparency and change the time frame for charts.
It even comes with the option to zoom in on certain areas of the charts, so you can better understand the trajectories and projections. It has three types of charts that you can check out, Azimuth from south, Tropical longitude or altitude.

More features and tools

It allows you to change the altitude, longitude and set the exact date which you would like to analyze. It lets you analyze the astrological chart of 1000 years ago or in the next millennium.
In addition, it has quick links to a calendar converter on the Internet. You can also create charts for latitude, elongation, rectascension and more. It doesn't seem to have any option of exporting charts or saving information on your computer.
All in all, Genius Loci Free is a functional and useful software solution for astrologists, but it lacks some essential features and the graphical interface seems a bit confusing.
