GIF Creator

GIF Creator is a program with a pretty suggestive title - it lets you create GIF animations from pictures with the BMP format.
This is a portable product, so installing GIF Creator is not necessary. It means that you can place the tool on an external device, plug it into any computer and directly run its executable file. The most important part is that your Windows registry items will remain intact.
The interface of the program is based on a standard window in which you can import pictures by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported.
So, all you have to do is specify the output destination and filename, in order to proceed with the conversion task. But you can also adjust the time delay, enable repetitions and apply a transparent color, as well as remove an item from the list or clear the entire queue.
The lightweight application requires a small amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task, manages to keep a good image quality and we haven't come across any errors during our tests.
Unfortunately, there is no help file available and the interface needs some major improvements, since it's outdated. All in all, GIF Creator comes with the necessary and suffice elements for building GIF animations and we recommend it to all users who prefer a straightforward tool.
