HTTPPing Description

The HTTPPing application was designed to be a small network ping utillity. The httpping is a small tool to "ping" web pages for status code, content length and roundtrip time.
When dealing with everyday applications over the net (SaaS, software+services etc.) a lot of these applications are published through webservices, or web sites.
Often the applications are offered as "services" through cloud computing, witch is why there is a lot of focus on latency and roundtrip times between your client and the hosted application. This tool can help measure these settings and parameters
