When you need a friend to help you fix your PC, they always ask for details regarding the current computer configuration. Rather than waste a lot of time looking for all the information, you can rely on InfoFlush.
You need to pay extra attention during installation as the application bundles some third-party offers that will need to be unchecked to ensure no changes are made to your browsers.
Once installed, InfoFlush can be run by double-clicking the shortcut created on the desktop, whenever you need it.
The graphical interface of the utility is highly intuitive and user-friendly, so that even if you are not a computer expert or you have very little PC skills, you can still make use of its functions.
You can flush the system information of your PC to a text file that will be saved to the folder you choose (the default location is the desktop) and will be assigned the filename you enter (if you do not enter new values, the TXT filename will be the computer’s name). Alternatively, you can set InfoFlush to automatically generate the TXT file, without asking for a filename every time you press the dedicated flushing button.
Additionally, you can choose to save your system information as HTML, however the file will store exactly the same details as the TXT one.
There is a lot of data that will be dumped to the output file, such as the current OS type, computer name and username, hardware details (regarding the base board, CPU, RAM, mouse and monitor), as well as more specific details like screensaver delay, DirectX version or wallpaper style.
Moreover, the generated report also specifies the full path for the most common Windows locations, such as Temp, Desktop, Cookies,Fonts, History, Templates, SendTo or Recent.
