IP Address Converter Description
IP Address Converter is a small software application whose sole purpose is to help you convert IP addresses to hexadecimal, decimal, and binary data on the breeze.
Simplistic looks
It sports a clean and plain layout that integrates an intuitive behavior, so even less experienced users can easily discover and tweak its functions. All dedicated parameters are embedded in the main panel, so altering them proves to be nothing more than a child’s play.
How it works
IP Address Converter gives you the possibility to type in the IP address that you want to convert or paste the information from the clipboard.
In order to trigger the conversion process, you are required to perform a single click on the “Convert†button, and the tool automatically displays the hexadecimal, decimal, and binary data. Tests revealed that the app carries out a task quickly and leaves a minimal footprint on system resources, so the overall performance of the computer is not affected.
What it lacks
On the downside, IP Address Converter doesn’t let you copy the hexadecimal, decimal, and binary information to the clipboard (so you cannot paste it into other third-party applications), clear the entire workspace with just one click, and export the converted values to a file (e.g. TXT, DOC, RTF) to your computer.
Bottom line
To sum things up, IP Address Converter proves to be a simplistic piece of software that comes bundled with limited features for helping you convert IP addresses to hexadecimal, decimal, and binary formats. The lack of configurable settings makes it ideal especially for rookies.
