IPCheck Description

IPCheck is a lightweight software application designed specifically for helping you monitor your IP address and get notifications when changes occur using straightforward actions.

System tray running mode

You can find the utility sitting quietly in the system without interfering with your current tasks. A simple click on the program’s icon gives you access to the GUI.
The layout looks clean and intuitive. It keeps a log with all the performed checks right in the main window and allows you to verify if the IP address has changed using a simple mouse click.

Configuration settings

IPCheck is able to automatically send email notifications whenever it detects that your IP address has changed. You need to provide details about the SMTP server and port, enable SSL connections, set up authentication parameters (username and password), as well as enter the email addresses of the sender and receiver.
What’s more, you are allowed to enable or disable the email notification mode and carry out some tests in order to verify if the emails are sent correctly directly from the main window of the utility.
Oher important configuration settings worth being mentioned enable you to specify a custom URL, enter a delay time (in minutes), and automatically check for updates. Plus, you can view the current IP address displayed in the primary panel.

Bottom line

All things considered, IPCheck comes with a basic feature pack for helping you monitor your IP address and send emails when it detects changes. You do not need special computer skills in order to tweak the application’s settings, so it is suitable for rookies and professionals alike.
