Its interface consists of a single window, with no menus whatsoever and no complicated menus, making it perfect for all types of users, regardless of their experience. The GUI is split into two separate sections, one dedicated to viewing your computer's IP addresses and the other created for resolving a remote host name.
View your IP address and resolve hosts
To view your PC's IP address, you only have to press the 'Resolve' button. Both the local and the remote IPs are displayed, enabling you to conveniently copy them to the clipboard.
To find out the IP address for a specific Internet location, you are required to enter the target host in the designated box and press the 'Resolve IP' button. The IP is shown almost instantly and just like before, you can send it to the clipboard.
A handy tool for network administrators and regular users alike
There are various other options to find out your IP address without using third party tools. The Internet abounds of online IP viewers and host resolvers, not to mention that you always have the 'ipconfig' command at hand.
However, if you don't want to resort to online services and you simply don't like using the command prompt, then an application such as Who Are You might be the solution you are looking for to fetch your IP address.
