Java Reminder Description

Java Reminder is a very simple tool developed for the Yahoo! Widget Engine platform that gives you a reminder to grab a cup of coffee every day at 3 p.m.
It doesn't include configuration settings, so the gadget can be handled even by users with limited or no experience in software programs.
The interface of the tool is based on a small frame that you can move to any position on the screen, with the help of the mouse cursor. As the name implies, it is inspired from the Java logo.
As we have previously mentioned, there are no configuration parameters available. For example, you cannot change the default time for the notification.
Thanks to the built-in Yahoo! Widget Engine features, you can set the frame to stay on top or below all the other windows, to ignore mouse events, and to prevent dragging. Plus, you can adjust its opacity level to a preset value, ranging between 20% and 100%.
The small utility is not a concern to the computer's overall performance, since it requires a very low amount of CPU and RAM. No error dialogs were shown in our tests, and the gadget did not hang or crash.
Unfortunately, the Yahoo! Widget Engine project was discontinued, so Java Reminder shall not be receiving further updates.
