Keep On Top Description
Keep On Top is a tiny and practical piece of software that allows you to make any window stay on top of all the other ones. It can be easily figured out, even by first-time users.
This is is a portable app, so installing Keep On Top is not necessary. It means that you can store the tool on a storage device (like a USB flash drive), save it to any computer and directly run its executable file.
This way, you can always have Keep On Top with you when you're on the move. Plus, the Windows Registry is not updated with new entries, and no leftover files can be found on the hard drive after program removal.
The interface of the tool is based on a standard window from where you can select any currently active window from the drop-down list. In order to make it stay on top of other processes, all you have to do is click a button.
Returning its status to normal can be done just as easily. There is no help file available but that's because Keep On Top's features may be easily discovered by individuals with zero experience in software applications.
The program runs on a very low amount of CPU and system memory, so it shouldn't put a strain on any computer. It has a good response time, immediately changes the window status of applications, and didn't freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs during our tests. However, Keep On Top has never been updated.
