Lalim DVD Player

Lalim DVD Player is a very simple-to-use tool which allows you to play DVDs from your external drives or local disks.
This is a portable product, so installing Lalim DVD Player is not necessary. You can simply place the software on an external device and run it on any computer. More importantly, your Windows registry keys shall remain unchanged.
The interface of the program is very plain. Lalim DVD Player could certainly use some improvements from this point of view.
You can import a DVD by using the file browser (the "drag and drop" function is not supported). If you already have a DVD mounted, then Lalim DVD Player will automatically play it for you.
So, you can play the whole movie, previous or next chapter, play backwards, pause or stop, zoom in and out, as well as create bookmarks.
But you can also switch to full screen mode, select the next audio stream and subtitle, adjust the volume and mute the track, select a chapter, as well as go to the root or title menu.
The program includes a brief but well-structured help file, takes up a high amount of system resources and didn't freeze, crash or pop up any errors when we tested it.
Evidently, Lalim DVD Player has some downsides. An important one is that the interface looks very dull. Also, you cannot make any image adjustments (e.g. brightness, contrast, hue).
Otherwise, Lalim DVD Player is a very good program for playing DVDs and we mainly recommend it to practical users who want a simple and portable product.
