Lightning Image Resizer Description
As the name of this software implies, Lightning Image Resizer allows you to change the size of your image files. It can be easily used by individuals of any experience level.
This is a portable product, so installing Lightning Image Resizer is not necessary. It means that you can place the tool on a removable device (like a USB flash drive), plug it into any computer and directly run its executable file. Moreover, there will be no changes made to your Windows registry keys.
The interface of the program is plain and simple to navigate through. Image files can be imported into the list by using either the file browser, treeview or "drag and drop" method. Batch processing is permitted.
In the queue you can check out the source path of each picture. So, all you have to do is specify the new size and aspect ratio, establish the output directory and initiate the task.
But you can also convert photographs to a new extension (e.g. BMP, PNG, GIF, JPG), set a filename pattern (prefix, suffix), choose a resampling method, enable fast copy, for Lightning Image Resizer to overwrite existing files, show memory use and to stay on top of other processes, and more.
The simple-to-use software runs on a very low amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and manages to keep a good image quality after resizing and conversion. We haven't come across any issues during our tests. Unfortunately, there is no help file available and you cannot preview images. Other than that, we strongly recommend Lightning Image Resizer to all users.
