Mach5 Mailer

Mach5 Mailer is a program used to send bulk emails to clients. It comes packed with a user-friendly environment but primarily addresses users with some background in this kind of apps.
Upon deployment you have to set up SMTP parameters (send from the current machine, use Mailer Express or SMTP server). The interface of Mach5 Mailer is represented by a standard window with a plain layout.
You can create a new mailing by specifying the data source type (e.g. ODBC, system data source or file data source, MS Access database, MS Excel sheet, text-based or Mach5 Subscriber) and items (select a table from the list or use SQL script).
It is possible to edit message information when it comes to the sender, receiver and subject, import an HTML page, use a search and replace function when dealing with large amounts of data, as well as to attach files and insert additional fields.
Plenty of configuration settings are available for the program. For instance, you can specify the operation timeout, number of threads, retry attempts for failed connections and line concatenation mode, prevent duplicate emails, create a blacklist for all mailings, as well as establish the font for plain text and HTML items.
Mach5 Mailer is very light on the system resources, since it requires only a small amount of CPU and system memory. It has a good response time, includes a help file and supports some hotkeys. No error notifications have been shown in our tests and the tool did not hang or crash. It needs some improvements in the visual department of the GUI, but we must keep in mind that Mach5 Mailer has not been updated for a while.
