MD Renamer

MD Renamer is an effective application for tidying up the filenames of all files in a folder. This is particularly useful when downloading a series of files from the internet, where typically people replace spaces in the filenames with the underscore character or leave everything in lowercase. MD Renamer will attempt to automatically tidy the names, but with a little user intervention is literally able to save hours of renaming.

Version 1.1 has a better installation program. There have been various improvements to the renaming algorithm which simplifies the cleaning up of file names, and there is an options screen to add extra phrases to be automatically removed from the names.
