Simple and stylish interface

The program offers a simple, yet modern menu with a predominantly dark blue theme and options focused on delivering fast conversion operations. It is divided in two main panels, with the left one displaying a thumbnail preview of the documents, and the right one showing the file with its actual size.

Basic functions

MDI to ePub Converter lets you search through multiple pages to find things information easily, as well as modify the view mode by zooming in and out, setting the image to its original size, or making it fit the window.
Furthermore, it lets you print the files through the connected printer. If you have a virtual PDF printer installed, then you can generate PDF documents instead of creating ePub files.
You can personalize the output ePub file with a custom cover image that can be in .JPG and .JPEG format. In addition, it's possible to edit the title to make it easier to spot on your e-book reader, along with the author's name.
It would've been nice if the program had extra options such as cropping the image the way you want, resizing and rotating it, and being able to choose a picture resolution specific with the ebook device. However, it has a rather limited pack of configuration settings.

Conclusions

Bottom line is that MDI to ePub Converter is a small program which helps you convert files from MDI format in ePub, in order to make documents compatible with ebook readers. It worked smoothly in our evaluation, carried out conversion tasks swiftly, and remained light on system resources usage.
