Media File Converter Description

Media File Converter is a simple-to-use program which allows you to convert image files to other file types, such as PNG, BMP, TIFF and JPEG. It can be handled by individuals of all levels.
The interface of the application is plain and simple. Image files can be imported via the file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Batch processing is not possible.
So, all you have to do is specify the desired output extension and proceed with the task by clicking the "Convert" button.
Additionally, you can view file properties (e.g. image size, scaling and point coordinates) and preview the respective image, as well as select the output color depth and color reduction method.
The image processing tool takes up a moderate amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and delivers a good image quality after conversion. No errors have occurred during our tests and Media File Converter did not freeze or crash. There's also a brief help file that you can look into.
On the other hand, the interface is outdated and the fact that batch processing is not supported is a major downside. Plus, you cannot make any additional image adjustments (e.g. brightness, contrast). All in all, Media File Converter comes packed with the minimum requirements for converting image files but we strongly recommend you look for a more advanced tool.
