Memory Pics is a lightweight utility that allows you to add the correct GPS coordinates for your photo albums using OpenStreet Maps so that you can indicate the location more accurately.

Rugged, yet intuitive and user-friendly UI

The program comes with an outdated and a rather minimalistic interface that comprises of several panels, each with different functions. Therefore, you can load the photo or album from the upper section of the UI and preview the list of pictures, so that you can quickly select the one that you need to modify.
While the utility displays various EXIF information, you can solely modify the one that is related to the location. As you would expect, you can navigate on the provided map to add the GPS coordinates or, if possible, include them manually.

Allows you to add personal notes to your images

The highlight of the program stems from the fact that you can add personal notes with any type of information that you consider relevant. For instance, you can write your impressions about visiting a museum, a new city, checking out a restaurant or a historical monument that perhaps had a great impact on you.
On the other hand, it is worth mentioning that the tool provides you with two ways to add the coordinates, namely manually or via the visual app. While the map is a more efficient option, it would be useful if the panel would be larger. Moreover, it would be helpful if the tool enabled you to manually add the address instead of the coordinates.
