The command line features of FSMM cannot be used with the eval version (e.g., the "UILessMigration" sample). If you try to use the eval version (or a partner license key with this sample), you will see the error: "An instance of type 'Metalogix.Metabase.ProjectJetDB' was being created, and a valid license could not be granted for the type 'Metalogix.Metabase.ProjectJetDB'. Please, contact the manufacturer of the component for more information."
When the application is launched with a partner license, it will show a reminder screen that it isn't to be used for commercial use.
