MidiTransformer Description
The MidiTransformer VST plugin is essentially a frontend for David Haupts MIDI Munger SE module. The input section deals with "which midi messages to change". The output sections is what the midi messages will be changed to.
With Clone Input selected, the input message being transformed will also be sent. If it is not selected, the original message is lost. The two arrows, if activated, pass the 1st or second data variable of the midi command to the other variable at the output.
I.e. the note number of a note-on could be passed on to the CC Value of a Control message. This could be mapped to a filters cutoff to simulate Keyboard Tracking.
[note - when doing this, its handy to set the note velocities in the input message from 1 to 127, so that it doesnt transmit a CC for velocity 0 (or note off/releasing a key).System requirementsVST Host
