The type of fuel is of no importance, nor any currency details, because the only values you get to work with are distance traveled and fuel consumed for input, while the result is delivered in the mileage field.
The result means the quantity of fuel you need to pump into the tank so you can drive for a mile. Sadly, you only get to work with the Imperial system, with no option to switch to Metric. This also means that distance is specified in miles, while fuel consumed in gallons.

To sum it up, Mileage Calculator is a quick method of calculating your car’s fuel efficiency. Money is not a variable here, with a couple of simple input fields at your disposal. It would have been useful to see Metric system support, and more flexibility when it comes to calculus.
