Minituner is a lightweight software application whose purpose is to help you access a wide range of radio stations from the comfort of your desktop.

Simple looks

The utility sports a minimalistic panel that displays the name of the radio station that is currently turned on. There’s no support for a help manual but you can venture into tweaking the dedicated parameters on your own because they are very easy to decode.
The only problem is that not all of the program’s features are translated into English.

Choose between different radio stations

Minituner makes sure you won't get bored listening to the same radio channel so it comes packed with diverse stations that you can activate with a single click.
The radio channels are grouped in an alphabetical order so you can identify the preferred one. The application reveals the total number of channels comprised in each group. On the downside, you cannot perform searches throughout the database with stations.
What’s more, you can make Minituner play a random radio channel, keep a list with recently accessed radio stations, and visit the current station’s website via your web browser.
We have tested the program on Windows 8.1 Pro and noticed that it streams radio content pretty quickly and provides very good audio quality. It doesn’t eat up a lot of CPU and memory so you can keep it running in the background without worrying that it may affect your computer’s performance.
