Online Radio

Online Radio is an application developed to do exactly what its name suggests: help you listen to online radio stations with just a few clicks.
As compared to many other similar products on the market, Online Radio doesn’t offer any station database, but instead it remains as user-friendly as possible.
And in order to do this, developers created a plain and simple interface that only shows the regular playback controls, along with a simple field where you have to paste the station URL.
Online Radio is based on the much more popular Windows Media Player, so right-clicking in the main window brings up the same menu as in the built-in Windows player.
As you can see, Online Radio lacks many important features, as you’re not allowed to save your favorite stations or at least to search from new ones directly from the main window of the app. It lacks hotkey support too, which could be pretty useful if someone wanted to quickly play and pause the music.
The good thing is that Online Radio remains light on hardware resources all the time and it seems to work smoothly on every Windows version currently on the market.
As a conclusion, this is the kind of app that appeals to beginners, as experienced users are very likely to be disappointed by the lack of features. It does its job with minimum user input, but it simply lacks too many important utilities to become a successful product.
